The Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is actively promoting vaccine hesitancy. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is unraveling under constant assault from the Trump administration. At a time of constant chaos and uncertainty, is there any hope for improving this crucial component of the health care system, which is woefully underfunded in the U.S. compared to other industrialized nations?
