Well, O.K. Mr. Goozner. I see all of your important points on healthcare and such, this post and other recent ones, but I do find you remiss, in not bringing up lately either of
a) Dr. Oz and his recent deceptions
b) The way in which eating pancakes, and the ritual of eating pancakes (possibly free--I'm not sure) with large crowds of people on the National Mall can lull one so easily into a false sense that everything is going along just hunky dory.

Grants from the "Feral Government" now have taken on the characteristics of the Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland. Infrastructure is a good example. Money for rail bridge, no money for bridge, money for rail tunnel, no money for tunnel.
