Between 2005 and 2012, I wrote a blog called GoozNews on Healthcare that drew a fairly wide and influential audience. I discontinued the blog after returning to Chicago to edit Modern Healthcare magazine, the leading trade journal in the healthcare space.

On October 3, 2020, after retiring from Modern Healthcare and ending my weekly column there, I relaunched the blog on substack, GoozNews.substack.com. I provide all the content for free to all subscribers. However, I depend on paying subscribers to offset its costs of production, which are mainly subscriptions and computer services.
