Seems that you blame hospital and providers where none of them are responsible for interoperability. As a provider I have never been given one penny to help with interoperability of any stimulus to help me implement EMR. Actually the only stimulus that we receive is the one where we are required to pay money to government for not using EMR. Get the facts straight and redact the statement"which was one of the goals of the 2009 stimulus act that paid physicians and hospitals more than $30 billion to install EMRs." isnt accurate as the goal was for interoperability to exist but the $30 billion wasn't given to any provider.
