I made the mistake of letting somewhat take me to an emergency room on a trip to California in 2018. They took my information. Did some tests and gave me the results. About 9 months (Maybe more) later I got a U$6,000 dollar bill. I sent in U$100, for while I was working out a possible reduction in the overall cost and a plan for payment , but I never got an acknowledgement on the U$100, and they quit writing to me.
